Refilwe

Refilwe, a Tswana word, means “Gift”. The Refilwe Community Project was formed in 1991 by Jean Stewart and Yvonne Jaques as a Christian Based Community Development initiative to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ amongst poor people in the Lanseria area. Jean is a professional nurse and a health care clinic was one of the first projects they started in order to help meet the needs of the poor people in this community. Today Refilwe Community Project is a multi focused registered Non Profit and Public Benefit Organization serving the communities of Lanseria north of Johannesburg in the following areas:
